A Fitted View of Style

Hello world! | Jul 22nd 2008

Hello all and welcome to my first blog ever ^_^ I’m super excited to share all of my sartorialist thoughts with you.  If you can’t guess from the name, I favor a more fitted look.  So for my first post I thought I’d write a little about myself and my personal preferences.

My favorite season is going to have to be winter.  There are soo many opportunities to layer and be imaginative with my day to day attire.  I am a regular reader of GQ and Men’s Health, lots of nice tips, though sometimes I really have to disagree with their advice.  As for my favorite brands, currently I am a big fan of the new burberry, i just can’t get enough of the british cut.  Prada is up there too, catoring to those of the slim body type, but they run a little pricey for me T_T  As far as American designers go I am a big fan of Calvin Klein, with all the clean lines and crisp styles.  DK for some reason always sparks an interest, it’s just Donna Karan’s designs have a way of merging old school looks with a modern touch.

Now for a few things that I dislike.  I really cannot stand traditional american cuts.  I work so hard for a nice V-shaped torso and it all goes to waste.  I’m also not much for italian cuts, there’s just something a little uncomfortable about those raised shoulders, it makes me feel a little pompous, and that’s not the vibe I like to give off.

Well that should give you a nice overview of what I’m about.  I’ll try to update this once or twice a week, hopefully with some nice pictures as i’m not one for writing.  Ja mata (hehe a little japanese never hurts ;) )
